Here we can see Professor Oak with a bunch of unreleased/modified Pokemon.

Ok, so this Pokemon were going to be released for Gold and Silver versions, (except of Lapras, of course)

1st Row:

-Mariru (Marill): It was a bright pink instead of blue, and he was thinner... I personally like the normal Marill more.

-Happa (Chikorita): It had ears!! I like it better with ears.

-Kurusu: I love Kurusu, and I hope someday GF release it as an official Pokemon, on some articles I've read, people suggest that is a concept art of Spheal... personally I've always thought it was a lost pre evo of Lapras.

-Buku: I like to think it's a Qwilfish pre evo.

-???: Some say it's a concept art of Hitmontop when he was not created as a Tyrogue evo. But I well, think, that it might have been a Gligar pre evo. yeah I'm crazy.

2nd Row:

-??? Turtle: I don't know why this wasn't released, it was awesome.

-Honoguma: Pikachu's on fire ... I would have also liked to see this one.

3rd Row??

-Lapras: This is a very early concept art of Lapras, I love it.

Well I hope you liked this Beta Pokemon are so underrated...

September 20th 2010 UPDATE: Have you guys seen the new turtle fossil from Gen V?? I do think we are finally getting our beta turtle !!
